Palo Alto Networks Empowers MSPs with Prisma SASE Enhancements

Palo Alto Networks is excited to introduce recent innovations to the Prisma SASE for MSPs platform. Prisma SASE is a scalable multi-tenant cloud management solution for managed service providers (MSPs) to fast track their enterprise digital transformation with managed Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) services. These innovations further enhance and simplify the management and support of SASE services.

The rapid enterprise adoption of SASE represents a considerable business opportunity for MSPs. The growing need for a managed service that enables enterprises to access the latest technologies without undergoing a substantial internal IT overhaul is also indicative of this trend.

At Palo Alto Networks, we have enhanced Prisma SASE to enable MSPs to deliver on the principles of operational excellence, profitability increase and optimal customer satisfaction.

• With Prisma SASE, MSPs can improve productivity and bottom-line margins with comprehensive visibility and AI/ML driven operational excellence. The multi-tenant cloud management portal includes hierarchical multi-tenancy to provide MSPs with a unified and converged single pane of glass to manage many customers across different market segments with reduced cost of operation. The following new enhancements in this portal dramatically improve the operational efficiency and performance of the administrator and operators:
  • Third-Party SAML-based Identity Providers (IdP) – This is a new scalable support for SSO for MSP admins, as well as hierarchical support for idP connections for MSPs on a per customer tenant basis. MSPs can now manage access to the portal for their admins and their customer admins (for co-management). MSPs can leverage their existing iDP services and include role-based access with support for authentication and authorization.
  • Incident Management – New, scalable and intuitive, it provides insights on service, network, connectivity and security incidents with recommendations and playbooks for remediation (powered by AIOps) for all their managed enterprise customers.
  • Map View – New and interactive, this provides an end-to-end view of all customer's deployments and security landscape, including deep threat insights.
  • Dark Theme – Adjusts brightness to lighting conditions to reduce eye-straining and facilitates use in dark environments.
  • Authorized Support Center (ASC) Partner Portal – An exclusive portal that provides rich insights and visibility into specific workflows, including infrastructure, services, performance, licenses and alerts.
• Prisma SASE can provide optimal customer experience with an intuitive, highly scalable, cloud-delivered platform to fast-track enterprise digital transformation with comprehensive best-of-breed security. These new enhancements further empower MSPs to integrate Prisma SASE with their existing backend systems, as well as scale operations to deliver customer solutions with excellence:
  • Autonomous Digital Experience Management (ADEM) APIs – Included with our ADEM capability, these APIs enable seamless integration and automation of digital experience management with MSPs’ existing Digital Experience toolkits.
  • Bulk Security Configuration & Management – Allows MSPs to define and orchestrate security policies across multiple customer tenants in a seamless and scalable manner. This will help optimize operations across multiple tenants to reduce overall time to perform these activities.
• With Prisma SASE, service providers (SPs) accelerate revenue growth with new differentiated security and connectivity services to help address organizations’ unique network security and SD-WAN requirements. With this in mind, we are happy to introduce the following:
  • SP Partner Interconnect – An innovative new pathway for SPs. It enables seamless network attach and deep integration with their core and transport networks. SPs can now offer significantly more differentiated SASE offerings that are inherently integrated with their connectivity infrastructure and internet services to their enterprise customers. This enables massive top-line business growth by augmenting SASE offers with their core managed security services (MSS) and connectivity portfolio.

Palo Alto Networks has enhanced the Prisma SASE hierarchical multi-tenant platform to ease the operator's day-to-day work and to provide fully managed or co-managed SASE services to any customer of all verticals. MSPs can leverage these new capabilities and enhancements to rapidly scale their managed SASE offerings and differentiate themselves and their services in the market.
